Job Description

As a Cyber Security Specialist, you'll be at the forefront of our efforts to combat cybercrime in Port Elizabeth. This role involves monitoring, detecting, and responding to security incidents while ensuring the integrity of our systems and compliance with security policies.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and improve existing security measures.
• Prepare detailed reports on security incidents and investigations.
• Conduct threat modeling and risk analysis.
• Collaborate with external security partners when necessary.
• Participate in security drills and exercises.
• Provide recommendations for hardware and software upgrades based on security needs.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity or related field
• Master's degree in Cybersecurity preferred

Experience

• 4+ years of experience in a cybersecurity role
