DevOps Engineer

Job Description

As a DevOps Engineer based in Johannesburg, you will be at the forefront of our cloud initiatives, responsible for creating and enhancing CI/CD processes. You will work closely with developers to ensure seamless software releases and maintain system reliability, contributing to our mission of delivering exceptional technology solutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop automation scripts to improve repeatability and efficiency across teams.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to enhance deployment strategies.
• Identify areas for process improvement within the DevOps cycle.
• Utilize monitoring and logging tools to proactively manage system health.
• Implement best practices for cloud environment best security practices and compliance.
• Assist in configuring and maintaining container orchestration tools like Kubernetes.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Computer Science or related field is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps or related field
