We are seeking a motivated Construction Foreman to oversee and manage construction sites in Cape Town. This role requires strong leadership, hands-on technical skills, and the ability to coordinate with various subcontractors and suppliers.
Responsibilities
Oversee construction activities from start to finish.
Ensure that all work complies with relevant building codes.
Maintain effective communication with project stakeholders.
Schedule and organize work on site to meet deadlines.
Assess risks and develop mitigation plans.
Manage the procurement of materials and tools.
Collaborate with architects and engineers on project requirements.
Ensure all workers are trained on safety procedures.
Facilitate problem-solving to minimize delays.
Assist in budget management and control.
Requirements
Education
National Diploma in Construction Management or similar
Degree in Civil Engineering is preferred
