Construction Foreman

Job Description

We are seeking a motivated Construction Foreman to oversee and manage construction sites in Cape Town. This role requires strong leadership, hands-on technical skills, and the ability to coordinate with various subcontractors and suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Oversee construction activities from start to finish.
• Ensure that all work complies with relevant building codes.
• Maintain effective communication with project stakeholders.
• Schedule and organize work on site to meet deadlines.
• Assess risks and develop mitigation plans.
• Manage the procurement of materials and tools.
• Collaborate with architects and engineers on project requirements.
• Ensure all workers are trained on safety procedures.
• Facilitate problem-solving to minimize delays.
• Assist in budget management and control.

Requirements

Education

• National Diploma in Construction Management or similar
• Degree in Civil Engineering is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in construction management or related field
