Job Description

We are seeking a motivated Investment Banking Associate to join our team in Sandton. In this role, you will contribute to various financial strategies and assist in transaction processes. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of financial markets and strong analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain comprehensive financial databases.
• Work closely with legal and compliance teams to ensure transaction integrity.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports.
• Support senior bankers in executing live transactions.
• Contribute to the strategic planning and execution of client engagements.
• Engage with clients to gather necessary information and provide updates.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Economics or related field
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CFA, CA) are advantageous

Experience

• 2-5 years of relevant experience in financial analysis or investment banking

• Excel Proficiency

Certifications

• CFA Level 2 or appropriate level completed
