DevOps Engineer

Looking for a talented DevOps Engineer to be part of our innovative team in Cape Town! In this role, you will play a crucial part in automating our processes, maintaining system reliability, and helping us scale our cloud environments efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Configuration and management of container orchestrators (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Ensure compliance with best practices in security and reliability.
• Conduct performance testing and tuning.
• Collaborate to refine development workflows and processes.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• Master's degree or relevant certifications are preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure

Technical Skills

• Linux administration
• Scripting languages (Python, Bash)

Soft Skills

• Adaptability
• Communication

Certifications

• AWS Certified Solutions Architect
• Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies: Understanding of Agile principles would be an advantage.
• Experience with infrastructure management tools: Utilizing configuration management tools like Ansible or Puppet.
