Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Auditor to join our office in Durban. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and examining financial records to ensure accuracy and compliance with established standards. This role involves conducting audits, reviewing financial documents, and providing recommendations based on findings.

Responsibilities

• Analyze internal controls and financial statements to detect errors.
• Provide guidance on best practices in compliance and accounting.
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information.
• Liaise with external auditors and regulatory bodies.
• Utilize auditing software for effective data analysis.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to strategic discussions.
• Ensure timely completion of audits according to schedule.
• Maintain professional relationships with all stakeholders.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent
• Master's degree in Finance or Business Administration preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of auditing experience preferred

Certifications

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
