Responsibilities

• Examine and treat patients with a wide variety of medical conditions.
• Develop individualized care plans based on patient needs.
• Engage in patient education to promote healthy living.
• Implement and monitor preventative health measures.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
• Maintain effective communication with patients and their families.
• Research and implement evidence-based practices in care.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of medical interventions.
• Provide after-hours care when necessary.

Requirements

Education

• MBChB or equivalent medical qualification
• Specialty training in Family Medicine is an advantage

Experience

• 5+ years of experience as a General Practitioner

Certifications

• HPCSA Registration
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Conversational
