System Administrator

Job Description

We are currently seeking a skilled System Administrator to manage and maintain our IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of networking, server management, and security protocols. You will be responsible for monitoring system performance, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring the smooth operation of our IT environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage and support IT infrastructure, including servers and networks.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot hardware/software issues.
• Implement and manage security protocols to safeguard data.
• Install and configure new hardware and software applications.
• Provide technical support to staff and ensure the resolution of any IT-related issues.
• Maintain documentation related to configurations, installations, and updates.
• Plan and conduct system backups and restores.
• Collaborate with other teams to enhance IT capabilities.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or similar field
• Additional industry certifications preferred.

Experience

• 3-5 years of hands-on experience in system administration

Certifications

• Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
• Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA)

Languages

• Knowledge of scripting languages: Experience with PowerShell or Bash scripting to automate tasks.
