Job Description

The Director of In-Service Education leads the design and implementation of comprehensive training programs to elevate employee skills and align with industry standards. This role is pivotal in ensuring continuous professional development and adherence to best practices.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the strategic planning of employee training initiatives.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programmes and make necessary adjustments.
  • Mentor and coach trainers to enhance their delivery techniques.
  • Stay informed about current trends in adult education and training methodologies.
  • Create partnerships with external training providers to augment internal capabilities.
  • Facilitate workshops and training sessions as required.
  • Oversee the management of learning management systems and other training tools.
  • Ensure accessibility of training programmes for all employees.
  • Collaborate with department heads to identify training needs.
  • Prepare reports on training outcomes and present to upper management.

Requirements

Education
  • Master’s degree in Education or Instructional Design preferred
  • Additional certifications in e-learning design
Experience
  • At least 5 years in training programme development with comprehensive experience in e-learning.
