Quality Assurance Tester

Job Description

As a Quality Assurance Tester in Johannesburg, you'll be integral to our software development process, ensuring our products are thoroughly tested and meet the highest standards before release. Collaborating with a dynamic team, you'll be involved in the entire testing lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the development team to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Execute manual and automated tests for new and existing features.
• Identify potential risks and issues early in the development process.
• Document and track defects using Jira or similar tools.
• Communicate testing progress and results to stakeholders.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning and retrospectives.
• Perform exploratory testing as needed.
• Review and provide input on user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Assist in training junior QA staff.
• Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in software testing

• ISTQB Certified Tester
