Job Description

We are seeking a talented Electrical Engineer to become a valuable part of our team in Cape Town. The successful candidate will have experience in designing, developing, and maintaining electrical systems and components. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to create efficient, safe, and sustainable electrical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Create and review technical documentation for electrical projects.
• Conduct research to enhance electrical engineering practices.
• Manage and mentor junior engineers and support staff.
• Work with project managers to ensure effective project delivery.
• Evaluate existing electrical systems and recommend improvements.
• Liaise with clients and other stakeholders throughout project life cycles.
• Oversee installation and maintenance of electrical equipment.
• Implement sustainable practices in electrical engineering design.
• Lead safety audits and compliance checks.
• Participate in workshops and training sessions to upskill team members.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering
• Professional Engineering qualification preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in electrical design and engineering

Technical Skills

• MATLAB
• SCADA Systems

Certifications

• Certified Energy Manager (CEM)

Languages

• English: Fluent
