We are seeking a highly motivated Security Engineer to join our team in Pietermaritzburg. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in cybersecurity practices, with a focus on preventing and responding to security incidents. You will play a key role in enhancing our security policies and procedures to ensure the safety of our digital assets.

Responsibilities

• Design security architecture for new systems and applications.
• Assist in the deployment of security software.
• Evaluate new security solutions and make recommendations.
• Create and maintain documentation related to security policies and practices.
• Provide guidance to junior security staff.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in a related field; Master's degree preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity or information security
