We are seeking a skilled Actuarial Analyst to join our dedicated team in Pretoria. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in actuarial principles and a keen analytical mindset. In this role, you will be responsible for data analysis, risk assessment, and model development to support our clients' financial decisions.

Responsibilities

• Analyze financial data to inform actuarial decision-making.
• Build financial models and projections for various insurance products.
• Engage with stakeholders to clarify requirements and deliver solutions.
• Draft reports detailing methodologies and results of analyses.
• Stay current on industry standards and regulations affecting actuarial practices.
• Review work produced by team members for quality assurance.
• Develop client presentations to communicate findings effectively.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, or Economics
• Actuarial certifications such as FSA preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of practical experience in an actuary role

• Excel & VBA
• Statistical Software (R, Python)

Certifications

• Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA)
• Certified Risk Manager (CRM)

Languages

• English: Fluent
