Job Description

We are on the lookout for an IT Support Technician to join our team in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will have a strong grasp of IT support and administration, providing crucial assistance to ensure smooth operations within our IT infrastructure. You will be responsible for resolving technical issues, managing user accounts, and ensuring the security of our systems.

Responsibilities

  • Support users in troubleshooting software and hardware issues.
  • Ensure compliance with data protection regulations in all IT operations.
  • Assist with the deployment of software upgrades and patches.
  • Provide feedback on recurring issues for system improvement.
  • Engage in continuous learning about new IT tools and technologies.
  • Participate in team meetings to discuss IT strategy and improvements.

Requirements

Education
  • Diploma in IT Support or related field
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science is a plus

  • 3+ years of experience in technical support roles
