Job Description

As a Data Engineer, you will leverage your skills to build and maintain scalable data solutions that facilitate analytics and reporting across our organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of ETL processes and cloud data warehousing.

Responsibilities

• Architect data solutions to meet the needs of analytics and reporting teams.
• Collaborate with IT and infrastructure teams to ensure secure data management.
• Conduct performance tuning on data systems and queries to enhance efficiency.
• Support data governance initiatives to comply with data protection regulations.
• Provide mentorship to junior data engineers and interns.
• Assist in the development of automated data processes and workflows.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• Master's degree in Data Science or related field is advantageous

Experience

• 4+ years of experience in data analytics and engineering

Technical Skills

• Scala
• NoSQL Databases

Soft Skills

• Problem Solving

Certifications

• Certified Analytics Professional (CAP)
• Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with Apache Kafka: Knowledge in working with messaging systems like Kafka for data streaming.
