Job Description

As an Energy Consultant based in Johannesburg, you will be responsible for developing energy efficiency strategies for our clients. You will evaluate their current energy usage and recommend solutions that align with their sustainability objectives, ensuring that your recommendations are both practical and economically viable.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate client energy needs and propose tailored solutions.
• Coordinate with local energy providers to ensure optimal solutions.
• Utilize analytics tools to track and report energy savings.
• Lead project teams in implementing energy-saving measures.
• Document all processes and create detailed reports for client review.
• Act as a key point of contact for client inquiries regarding energy management.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field
• Master's degree is preferred

Experience

• 3-7 years of experience in the energy sector

Technical Skills

• Sustainability Assessments
• Energy Management Systems (EMS)

Soft Skills

• Team Leadership
• Customer Service

Certifications

• ISO 50001 Energy Management Systems Lead Implementer
• Energy Efficiency Practitioner (EEP)

Languages

• English: Fluent
