Job Description

We are on the lookout for a Cybersecurity Specialist to join our team in Port Elizabeth. The ideal candidate will be responsible for securing our company's digital assets by implementing and monitoring security measures.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and enhance system security configurations.
• Maintain firewalls, antivirus software, and other security tools.
• Prepare reports for management summarizing security incidents.
• Engage in threat hunting activities to preemptively identify risks.
• Act as a point of contact for security-related inquiries.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Cybersecurity
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CEH) are advantageous

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity or related field
