We are seeking a DevOps Engineer to join our dedicated team in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will have a robust understanding of both development and operations, ensuring smooth software deployment and infrastructure management.

Responsibilities

• Architect scalable environments on cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
• Support application deployment and updates across various environments.
• Foster a culture of shared responsibility for the infrastructure.
• Identify bottlenecks and propose solutions for process optimization.
• Maintain detailed documentation of architecture and changes.
• Facilitate knowledge sharing sessions and training with team members.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or similar field

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in DevOps practices

Technical Skills

• Terraform
• Ansible

Soft Skills

• Effective Communication
• Adaptability

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Hands-on experience with Git and version control systems.: Familiarity with source code management using Git.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and practices.: Experience working in Agile teams for project management.
