Job Description

As an IT Support Specialist in Johannesburg, you’ll play a key role in managing and supporting IT infrastructure. Your responsibilities will include troubleshooting technical issues, assisting users with software applications, and maintaining documentation. We seek an individual with a proactive attitude and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on support for IT hardware and software systems.
• Help manage the IT knowledge base and service desk documentation.
• Participate in on-call support rotation as needed.
• Ensure compliance with IT security policies and procedures.
• Identify and escalate complex issues to senior IT staff.
• Maintain effective working relationships with clients and vendors.

Requirements

Education

• Degree in Computer Science or related field
• IT certifications (e.g., MCSA, CCNA) are advantageous

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in IT support or technical support role
