Job Description

As a Pharmacy Technician in Johannesburg, you will play a critical role in supporting our pharmacy operations. Your primary responsibilities will include assisting pharmacists in dispensing medication, managing inventory, and providing exceptional customer service to patients. Responsibilities

  • Support the pharmacist in providing pharmaceutical care and consultations.
  • Assist in compounding medications as needed and maintaining accurate records.
  • Manage prescription refill requests and maintain communication with patients.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the pharmacy.
  • Document all pharmacy transactions accurately in the system.
  • Engage in continuing education to stay updated on pharmacy practices.
  • Participate in outreach activities to promote health and wellness in the community.
  • Contribute to quality improvement initiatives within the pharmacy.

Requirements

Education
  • Diploma in Pharmacy Technology or related field
Experience
  • At least 2 years working in a pharmacy environment is preferred
