Civil Engineer

Job Description

We are searching for a qualified Civil Engineer to join our esteemed team in Port Elizabeth. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in designing, planning, and executing infrastructure projects. You will ensure compliance with engineering codes and regulations, work collaboratively with various stakeholders, and lead site teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.

Responsibilities

• Direct engineering and construction teams to meet project goals.
• Ensure all engineering designs are sustainable and environmentally friendly.
• Manage project documentation and reporting for regulatory compliance.
• Maintain positive relationships with clients and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
• Identify, analyse, and resolve design and construction issues efficiently.
• Participate in community engagement initiatives related to projects.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, preferably with honors
• A Master’s degree is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in large infrastructure projects

• Structural Analysis

Certifications

• Certified Engineering Technician (CET)
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt

Languages

• English: Fluent
