Job Description

As a Cybersecurity Analyst at our Durban office, you will work to protect our organization's systems and networks. You will analyze security incidents and monitor networks for breaches, ensuring the safety of sensitive data. Your expertise will play a critical role in anticipating, detecting, and responding to threats, making it crucial to stay updated on the latest security trends.

Responsibilities

• Conduct risk assessments and maintain an inventory of information assets.
• Review and refine security strategies to adapt to emerging threats.
• Configure security tools and manage configurations for optimal protection.
• Work with compliance teams to ensure adherence to industry regulations.
• Monitor and analyze vulnerabilities and propose mitigation strategies.
• Develop incident response plans and conduct drills to assess readiness.
• Foster a culture of security awareness across the organization.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Assurance or related field
• Master's degree in Cybersecurity is a plus

Experience

• 3+ years of relevant cybersecurity experience

Languages
