Job Description

As a Cybersecurity Analyst at our Durban office, you will work to protect our organization's systems and networks. You will analyze security incidents and monitor networks for breaches, ensuring the safety of sensitive data. Your expertise will play a critical role in anticipating, detecting, and responding to threats, making it crucial to stay updated on the latest security trends.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and improve the organization's security posture continually.
• Conduct threat intelligence analysis and security awareness training for employees.
• Develop technical security standards and guidelines.
• Conduct investigations of security incidents and prepare forensic analysis.
• Collaborate with external cybersecurity agencies for threat collaboration.
• Implement security solutions for data protection and compliance.
• Assist in disaster recovery planning and testing measures.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Assurance or related field
• Master's degree in Cybersecurity is a plus

Experience

• 3+ years of relevant cybersecurity experience
