Job Description

We are seeking a Logistics Manager to oversee and enhance our logistics operations in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the entire supply chain process, from procurement to delivery, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness. Strong leadership skills and a strategic mindset are essential for this role, along with a proven track record in logistics management. You will work closely with various teams and stakeholders to optimize our logistics processes and improve customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor the logistics team to achieve operational excellence.
  • Design logistics processes that ensure timely and accurate delivery of products.
  • Manage relationships with transport companies and freight forwarders.
  • Evaluate the performance of logistics providers and recommend improvements.
  • Ensure that all logistics activities align with company policies and objectives.
  • Utilize technology to enhance supply chain visibility and efficiency.
  • Assist in the development of logistics policies and procedures.
  • Prepare reports and presentations for senior management on logistics performance metrics.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field
  • Master's degree in Logistics or Supply Chain Management preferred
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in supply chain or logistics roles
