Job Description

We are looking for a Logistics Coordinator to manage our supply chain operations in Durban. The ideal candidate will have experience in logistics planning, inventory management, and a keen understanding of transport regulations. Collaborate with teams to ensure efficient delivery processes and maintain strong relationships with vendors.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with the operations team for inventory management.
• Monitor shipment schedules and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
• Develop relationships with new suppliers to enhance logistics.
• Analyze transport costs and negotiate with providers.
• Ensure accuracy in shipping and receiving documentation.
• Plan and execute logistics strategies for efficiency.
• Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies.
• Support warehouse operations as needed.
• Monitor KPIs to gauge logistics performance.
• Prepare reports for upper management regarding logistics operations.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field
• Master's degree in Logistics or Supply Chain Management preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in logistics planning and execution
