Job Description

As a Machine Feeder and Offbearer, you will work in a fast-paced environment alongside our dedicated production team. Your responsibilities will include managing machine operations, assisting with garment assembly, and implementing quality checks.

Responsibilities

• Manage the operation of sewing machinery with precision and care.
• Ensure fabric is properly aligned and fed into machines for optimal output.
• Conduct regular quality checks on produced garments to meet standards.
• Work collaboratively with team members to achieve production efficiency.
• Keep machinery well-maintained and report any issues immediately.
• Assist in training new employees on equipment usage and safety practices.
• Attend team briefings to align on daily production goals.
• Contribute to maintaining a safe and tidy work environment.
• Support the team in meeting weekly production targets.
• Engage in process improvements to enhance productivity.

Requirements

Education

• Grade 12 certificate
• Technical qualification in textile machinery is beneficial

Experience

• Proven experience as a Machine Feeder or in a similar textile role

Languages

• English: Fluent
