Job Description

We are on the lookout for a talented Animator to join our creative team in Pretoria. In this role, you will be responsible for bringing ideas to life through engaging animation. Your work will involve creating character animations, working on visual effects, and collaborating with designers and other animators to produce top-notch multimedia content. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of animation principles, a flair for creativity, and proficiency in industry-standard software such as Adobe After Effects and Maya.

Responsibilities

• Create compelling animations for a variety of projects.
• Collaborate with designers and directors to develop animations that align with creative goals.
• Utilize software like Adobe After Effects, Maya, or Blender for animations.
• Revise animations based on feedback from team members and clients.
• Stay up to date with new animation technologies and techniques.
• Assist in storytelling and character development through animation.
• Maintain project timelines and deliver quality work on schedule.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Animation, Graphic Design, or related field
• Specialized courses in animation software are preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of working experience in animations or multimedia projects

Technical Skills

• Adobe Premiere Pro
• Illustrator

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Familiarity with VR/AR experiences: Experience creating animations for virtual or augmented reality content.
