Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic team in Cape Town. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in designing and implementing innovative electrical systems and solutions. You will collaborate closely with project managers and other engineers to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget, while adhering to all quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage electrical projects from conception to completion.
• Engage with clients to understand their requirements and provide solutions.
• Ensure that electrical installations are completed to high standards.
• Research and apply new electrical technologies to improve outcomes.
• Create and maintain project timelines and budget forecasts.
• Provide expert advice on electrical systems and components.
• Facilitate team meetings to ensure all parties are informed and aligned.
• Document all project stages and create comprehensive reports.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering is a plus

Experience

• 7+ years of experience in electrical design and project management

Technical Skills

• Electrical CAD Software
• Energy Management Systems

• Leadership

Certifications

• Certified Energy Manager (CEM)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of SCADA systems: Proven experience with SCADA systems for real-time monitoring and control.
• Experience with renewable energy projects: Hands-on experience in renewable energy system design and implementation.
