Clinical Psychologist

Job Description

As a Clinical Psychologist in our organisation, you'll provide assessments, therapies, and counseling to clients facing emotional and psychological challenges. Collaborate with other health professionals to facilitate holistic care and support for our diverse clientele.

Responsibilities

• Assess clients' mental health needs and formulate care plans.
• Conduct therapy sessions and implement evidence-based treatment modalities.
• Collaborate on interdisciplinary treatment plans for optimal client care.
• Participate in regular training and professional development workshops.
• Assist in creating community outreach programs for mental health awareness.
• Provide educational workshops or talks on mental health topics.

Requirements

Education

• Doctorate in Clinical Psychology is preferred
• HPCSA Registration is mandatory

Experience

• 5+ years’ experience in a clinical setting

• CBT and DBT expertise
• Crisis Management Skills

• Active Listening
• Conflict Resolution

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Conversational

Advantageous

• Certifications in mindfulness techniques: Knowledge of mindfulness-based approaches to therapy.
• Experience with teletherapy: Familiarity with online platforms for remote therapy sessions.
