Job Description

We are on the lookout for a dedicated IT Support Technician to join our Johannesburg team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support and troubleshooting to our internal users, ensuring smooth IT operations daily. This role requires strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the first point of contact for IT support queries.
  • Help in the setup and maintenance of servers and workstations.
  • Monitor and maintain computer systems and networks.
  • Document internal procedures and updates for IT knowledge base.
  • Assist users with hardware and software troubleshooting.
  • Participate in IT projects to enhance infrastructure efficiency.

Requirements

Education
  • IT diploma or relevant qualification
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred
Experience
  • 3+ years of IT support experience
Technical Skills
  • ITIL Foundation Certification
  • Virtualization Technologies

Certifications
  • Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)

Languages
  • English: Fluent
