Responsibilities

• Research and select materials appropriate for the project.
• Ensure quality control and adherence to safety standards.
• Oversee construction timelines and deliverables.
• Participate in project meetings, providing insights on structural issues.
• Mentor interns and new engineers in best practices.
• Collaborate with external consultants and contractors.
• Prepare cost estimates and technical specifications.
• Utilise computer-aided design (CAD) software for project modelling.
• Investigate structural failures and provide solutions.
• Maintain relationships with regulatory bodies and ensure compliance with local codes.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Structural Engineering or related field
• PhD preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in structural analysis and design

Technical Skills

• Finite Element Analysis (FEA)
• Steel and Concrete Design

Soft Skills

• Leadership

Certifications

• Chartered Structural Engineer
• Certificated Energy Manager (CEM)

Languages

• English: Fluent
