Job Description

As a Tax Specialist, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing tax compliance, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in filing returns. Your expertise will be vital in helping clients navigate complex tax laws and optimize their tax positions. We're looking for someone who can provide strategic insights and contribute to tax planning initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal tax laws.
• Assess the tax implications of various business transactions.
• Create tax projections based on client operations and forecasts.
• Liaise with external accountants and stakeholders as needed.
• Maintain strong knowledge of tax law updates and interpret changes effectively.
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting from a tax perspective.
• Prepare and maintain detailed work papers and supporting documentation.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Taxation or related field
• Master's degree or specialization in taxation is beneficial

Experience

• 4+ years of experience in tax advisory roles

• Tax Law

Certifications

• Chartered Accountant (CA(SA))

Languages

• English: Fluent
