We seek an enthusiastic Environmental Consultant to facilitate environmental assessments and implement sustainability initiatives. You will be pivotal in driving projects that support compliance with environmental regulations, along with developing innovative solutions tailored to our diverse clientele.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and mitigate the environmental risks associated with projects.
• Develop sustainable solutions tailored to client needs, focusing on cost-effectiveness.
• Conduct research on environmental regulations and emerging trends.
• Prepare grant applications and funding proposals related to sustainability projects.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Studies or a related field
• Master's degree in a relevant discipline is an advantage

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in environmental consulting or related roles

Technical Skills

• Regulatory Compliance
• GIS Proficiency

Soft Skills

• Analytical Skills
• Client Engagement

Certifications

• Green Building Council of South Africa Certification
• Certified Environmental Practitioner (CEnvP)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with sustainability reporting: Knowledge of global sustainability reporting standards and practices.
