Architect (Sustainability)

Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Architect (Sustainability) to design environmentally-friendly buildings and contribute to sustainable urban development. You will be responsible for integrating eco-friendly practices into architectural designs, working closely with clients and project teams to deliver sustainable solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design and plan sustainable architecture projects from concept through execution.
• Collaborate with clients, engineers, and contractors to meet project requirements.
• Evaluate and select materials that contribute to the environmental goals of the project.
• Conduct site analyses and feasibility studies for sustainable building proposals.
• Stay informed on green building codes and sustainability practices.
• Prepare and present detailed reports and design proposals to stakeholders.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture or Environmental Design
• Master's degree preferred

Experience

• 3-5 years of progressive experience in sustainable architecture

• SketchUp
• Green Building Certifications

Soft Skills

• Team Leadership
• Creativity

Certifications

• Sustainability Consultant Certification
• Project Management Professional (PMP) is a plus

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Familiarity with environmental regulations: Knowledge of local environmental laws and standards applicable to construction.
• Previous experience in urban metrics: Experience dealing with urban metrics and their implications on design.
