UX/UI Designer

Job Description

We are seeking a talented UX/UI Designer to join our dynamic team in Durban. In this role, you will be responsible for creating user-centered designs that enhance the overall user experience. You will collaborate with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to define and implement innovative solutions across various platforms.

Responsibilities

• Create user-centric designs grounded in user research.
• Define UI specifications and style guides for the development team.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions to generate innovative ideas.
• Facilitate stakeholder meetings to gather feedback and insights.
• Collaborate with marketing teams to ensure cohesive branding.
• Evaluate competitor designs and incorporate insights into your work.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Design, User Experience, or a related field
• Master's degree is a plus

Experience

• 4-6 years of experience in UX/UI design roles

Technical Skills

• Sketch
• InVision
• User Testing Tools

Soft Skills

• Communication Skills
• Teamwork

Certifications

• Google UX Design Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with Design Systems: Knowledge in building and maintaining component libraries.
• Familiarity with Agile Methodologies: Experience working in Agile environments is beneficial.
