Job Description

As a Structural Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing the engineering design for various building structures. This includes evaluating projects from a technical perspective to create feasible designs that align with safety standards and government regulations. You’ll collaborate with architects and urban planners to ensure functionality meets aesthetic requirements while adhering to budget constraints.

Responsibilities

  • Create structural models using engineering software to aid in design.
  • Research and recommend materials and methodologies for construction.
  • Maintain awareness of emerging technologies and industry developments.
  • Support the procurement process through detailed specifications.
  • Coordinate with regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with standards.
  • Manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.

Requirements

Education
  • Master's degree in Structural Engineering is preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
Experience
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in structural project management
Technical Skills
  • Project Management Software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera)
  • Surveying and Geomatics
