Job Description

As a Data Engineer in our Cape Town office, you will play a vital role in transforming our data infrastructure. You will collaborate with data scientists and analysts to enhance our data capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Architect data solutions to meet the analytics and reporting needs of the organization.
• Work with data visualization tools to present data findings.
• Collaborate with IT teams to ensure infrastructure meets data needs.
• Monitor and troubleshoot data pipeline issues.
• Automate data collection and transformation processes.
• Perform data profiling to identify issues and improve data quality.
• Develop ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field
• Master's degree is advantageous

Experience

• Minimum of 3 years experience in data engineering or related field
