Job Description

We are on the hunt for an experienced Logistics Manager to oversee our logistics operations in Cape Town. The candidate should have a solid background in supply chain management and will be responsible for optimizing logistics processes to ensure timely and efficient delivery of products.

Responsibilities

  • Direct the development of logistics strategies that align with organizational objectives.
  • Optimize transportation routes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Implement and monitor key performance indicators to evaluate logistics operations.
  • Facilitate effective communication between logistics teams and other departments.
  • Assess and manage supplier performance to ensure quality service delivery.
  • Lead the negotiation of contracts and agreements with logistics vendors.
  • Conduct regular team meetings to discuss logistics updates and challenges.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or equivalent
  • Professional certifications in logistics management are preferred
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in managing logistics operations
