DevOps Engineer

Job Description

As a DevOps Engineer in our Cape Town office, you will play a critical role in supporting our cloud initiatives. You will improve our platform's performance, automate workflows, and ensure smooth operations of our cloud services, all while working in a collaborative team environment focused on innovation and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Develop monitoring and logging solutions to ensure system health.
• Manage container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.
• Integrate cloud technologies with existing systems and services.
• Create and maintain technical documentation for systems, processes, and tools.
• Evaluate and recommend new tools and technologies to improve infrastructure.
• Assist in strategic planning of cloud architecture and capacities.
• Participate in on-call rotations and incident response activities.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps and cloud technologies

• GCP

Certifications

• Microsoft Certified: Azure DevOps Engineer Expert
• Docker Certified Associate

Languages

• English: Fluent
