Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Fraud Auditor to join our team in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will possess a strong analytical mindset and comprehensive knowledge of auditing standards and financial regulations. You will be responsible for identifying fraudulent activities and implementing measures to prevent them, ensuring our operations are secure and compliant.

Responsibilities

• Review financial data for discrepancies and signs of fraud.
• Engage with stakeholders to raise awareness about fraud risks.
• Conduct follow-up audits to ensure corrective actions are implemented.
• Provide insights and recommendations to enhance fraud prevention strategies.
• Stay updated with changes in legislation affecting auditing.
• Lead audits in high-risk areas identified during preliminary assessments.
• Maintain relationships with external auditors and regulators.
• Document and compile evidence for audit trails.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
• Master's degree or professional certification preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in fraud auditing or forensic accounting
