Job Description

The Atomic Spectroscopist will be responsible for conducting and analysing experiments using atomic spectroscopy techniques. The ideal candidate will interpret data and present findings to both the team and clients, ensuring the highest standards of analytical practices.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct atomic spectroscopy experiments, including sample preparation.
  • Utilise software for data analysis and interpretation.
  • Document findings accurately in compliance with laboratory protocols.
  • Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams.
  • Mentor junior staff and assist in training initiatives.
  • Participate in laboratory safety audits and ensure adherence to protocols.
  • Propose improvements based on experimental outcomes.
  • Engage in continuous learning and professional development.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Physics, or related field
  • Master's or PhD in Atomic Spectroscopy or related field preferred
Experience
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in Atomic Spectroscopy or related field
