Job Description

We are looking for an Industrial Engineer to join our expert team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in optimizing processes, improving efficiency, and implementing engineering solutions that enhance productivity. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that systems run smoothly and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Conduct time and motion studies to identify process obstacles.
• Develop recommendations to improve system and process efficiency.
• Coordinate projects with cross-functional teams to enhance operational capabilities.
• Implement Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to streamline operations.
• Prepare technical reports to provide insights and facilitate decision-making.
• Provide training and support to team members on process improvements.
• Assure compliance with safety and quality standards in all engineering practices.
• Utilize simulation software to model and analyze workflows.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering
• Master's degree in Operations Management is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in process engineering or manufacturing

Technical Skills

• Statistical Process Control
• Simulation Software

Soft Skills

• Analytical Thinking
• Attention to Detail

Certifications

• Certified Manufacturing Engineer (CMfgE)
• Project Management Professional (PMP)

Languages

• English: Fluent
