Job Description

As a Glass Belt Sander, you will be at the forefront of our production process, responsible for grinding and smoothing glass surfaces to meet specific quality requirements. Attention to detail and proficiency in operating machinery are essential traits we are looking for. If you have a passion for precision and quality, this role is for you.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the production process and inspect the quality of finished products.
• Maintain accurate records of production and quality control.
• Troubleshoot any issues with the sanding machine to ensure smooth operations.
• Participate in regular safety and operational training programmes.
• Help with onboarding new team members in machine operation.

Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent

Experience

• At least 2 years of experience in operating belt sanding machines in the glass industry is preferred.

Technical Skills

• Belt sanding machinery operation
• Attention to detail

• Communication skills
• Problem-solving

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with various glass types: Familiarity with working with different types of glass, such as tempered and laminated.
