Job Description

As a Pharmacy Technician at our Durban location, you will be essential in managing medication inventory, assisting customers, and ensuring compliance with health regulations. We are looking for someone with strong communication skills and a commitment to delivering the best service to our patients.

Responsibilities

• Support pharmacists in all aspects of pharmacy operations.
• Accurately prepare and label medications for dispensing.
• Ensure proper storage and handling of pharmaceutical products.
• Assist with patient record management and confidentiality.
• Participate in quality assurance initiatives to enhance pharmacy services.
• Coordinate with suppliers and vendors for medication orders.
• Help implement new pharmacy technologies and systems.
• Engage in community outreach regarding health and wellness initiatives.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in Pharmacy Technology
• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy is a plus

Experience

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a pharmacy environment
