Job Description

We are seeking a knowledgeable Tax Consultant to join our Durban office. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing clients with advice and assistance on tax planning and compliance. You will play a critical role in helping clients optimize their tax obligations, ensuring they meet all regulatory requirements while maximizing their financial benefits.

Responsibilities

• Conduct risk assessments related to clients' tax positions.
• Represent clients in audits and inquiries by the tax authorities.
• Help clients leverage tax incentives and credits.
• Collaborate with the accounting team for accurate financial reporting.
• Assist businesses in structuring transactions for tax efficiency.
• Create presentations and reports to communicate findings to clients.
• Engage in continuous professional development to enhance skills.
• Participate in client meetings to discuss tax strategies.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• Masters in Taxation is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of tax related experience is essential
