Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Veterinary Surgeon to join our vibrant team in Cape Town. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and treating a variety of animal conditions. Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and treat injuries, illnesses, and diseases in animals.
  • Administer anesthesia and monitor animals during surgical procedures.
  • Develop partnerships with local pet owners and communities.
  • Conduct follow-up examinations and adjust treatments as needed.
  • Manage inventory of surgical and medical supplies.
  • Promote and participate in continuous education programs.
  • Attend workshops and seminars to enhance veterinary knowledge.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor of Veterinary Science (BVSc)
  • Postgraduate qualifications in veterinary surgery preferred
Experience
  • 4+ years of experience in clinical practice
