Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Actuarial Modeling Consultant to join our dynamic team in Sandton. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in actuarial modeling and be adept in utilizing advanced statistical tools to assess risk and improve modeling outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and review actuarial models to optimize company strategies.
  • Liaise with various departments to gather data and insights for modeling purposes.
  • Analyze actuarial data to enhance predictive accuracy and reliability.
  • Support strategic projects with actuarial expertise and analysis.
  • Develop documentation for models and analysis processes.
  • Monitor and adjust models based on changing market conditions.
  • Conduct peer reviews of modeling outputs to ensure quality and accuracy.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science or Mathematics
  • Master's degree is advantageous
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in a consulting or corporate environment
