Booster Plant Operator

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Booster Plant Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining booster plants, ensuring efficient and safe operations.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of the booster plant.
• Conduct safety checks and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Document and analyze water quality tests and reports.
• Assist in the troubleshooting of equipment failures.
• Support the installation of new systems and machinery.
• Train junior staff on operational safety and maintenance practices.
• Participate in emergency response drills and training.
• Liaise with local authorities regarding water quality issues.
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives for plant efficiency.
• Ensure effective waste management practices are followed.

Requirements

Education

• Technical diploma in Water Treatment or related field

Experience

• Experience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS)

Technical Skills

• Understanding of safety procedures
• Knowledge of pumps and valves

Soft Skills

• Flexibility to work shifts
• Team player

Certifications

• First Aid Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of environmental regulations: Familiarity with laws governing water supply and treatment.
• Experience in supervisory roles: Prior experience overseeing plant operations.
