Responsibilities

  • Assess client needs and determine appropriate therapeutic approaches.
  • Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions to support client healing.
  • Work with external health professionals to enhance client care strategies.
  • Conduct regular client evaluations to track treatment effectiveness.
  • Assist in developing programs for mental health outreach and education.
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards in all client interactions.
  • Prepare reports and participate in case reviews with clinical teams.

Requirements

Education
  • Master's degree in Clinical Psychology
  • Registration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA)
Experience
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in a clinical setting
