Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Controls Engineer to join our dynamic Durban team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in control systems design, implementation, and maintenance, with a focus on automation projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and testing of electrical control systems.
• Evaluate and select appropriate technologies for control applications.
• Maintain project schedules and ensure timely completion of tasks.
• Conduct system testing and validation.
• Train junior engineers and provide mentorship.
• Participate in site assessments and provide technical support to clients.
• Collaborate with suppliers and vendors for component sourcing.
• Ensure projects are delivered within budget and on schedule.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• Master's degree is advantageous

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in electrical controls engineering
