Responsibilities

  • Assess clients' psychological and emotional needs through various testing methods.
  • Create and execute therapy plans tailored to individual client goals.
  • Lead therapy sessions, providing guidance and support to clients.
  • Work alongside other mental health professionals to coordinate care effectively.
  • Document treatment progress and update client records consistently.
  • Stay informed of current research and advancements in psychological treatment.
  • Contribute to outreach programs focused on mental health awareness.

Requirements

Education
  • Master's degree in Clinical Psychology
  • Registration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) as a Clinical Psychologist
Experience
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a clinical setting
